SyuRo has designed a Sashimono box, made by a joiner, applying the traditional woodworking techniques of Edo joinery.
The paulownia wood used is light and moisture-resistant, making it ideal for storing items that are sensitive to dryness or humidity.
Oak is used around the opening to add strength and create a case that is not too Japanese, but also suits modern lifestyles.
What's more, the cases are stackable, so they don't take up much space.
You can store everyday items such as your cell phone, tie, and shirt inside.
